Here’s a clip from “Beyond the Wild Woods with DJ Sadie,” WRUV-FM 90.1 in Burlington. We played “The Catbird Seat” live on the radio station, crowding around one microphone…enjoy!

Catbird Seat, its lyrics add up to stirring poetry. In a mournful but gentle way, these words force a clarifying confrontation with my own stupid ego, its delusions, false, braggart’s comforts and humbling mirrors. Words and musics together offer this small 5-minute space of release from the burden of who I pretend I am. Brilliant masterwork, fellows! I, Me, Myself haven’t been this carved up since the early Dylan era. Gratefully, bob.
